The South Fraser Perimeter Road (SFPR), is a new four lane, 80km/hr route along the south side of the Fraser River connecting Deltaport and the Trans-Canada Highway. The SFPR is an integral part of British Columbia s Gateway Program developed in 2006 to ease congestion and improve the transit of containers from Deltaport to BC s interior.
In 2006 FRPD signed an agreement with the Ministry of Transport for the supply and placement of approximately 2.8 million cubic meters of river sand for preloading the road alignment.
In addition to sand supply FRPD supplied and installed piling to support four overpasses and completed the construction of the Fraser Heights Wetlands Bridge.
