Infrastructure Projects are generally categorized as projects constructed for the public good and paid for in whole or in part by government funding. Western Canada has been home to some of the largest Infrastructure Projects in the country over the last decade or so.

Projects include the Sea to Sky Highway, Golden Ears Bridge, Canada Line Rapid Transit System, Port Mann Bridge Highway 1, Coast Meridian Overpass and numerous upgrades to existing BC Ferry Terminals. By utilizing all facets of our business – Marine & Infrastructure, Land Foundations, and Dredging – FRPD has played a role in all of these projects. Whether it be installing large diameter pipe piles on land and in water for the Golden Ears, Canada Line, Coast Meridian and Port Mann Bridges or completing entire structures such as the Fraser Heights Connector, Highway 1 Overpasses and Ferry Terminal Upgrades, we have been there. FRPD is one of three Canadian Companies which make up the “Gateway Infrastructure Group” (GIG) partnership formed in 2009 to better serve the Infrastructure Market.
